Whale quilt! Finally finished.... :-)

So I took FOREVER in finishing this quilt. It was so insanely easy to do! Once I got the borders put on around the panel it sat in my stack of quilt tops. Then, I decided to quilt it quickly for a baby gift, but after I quilted it I was too lazy to do the binding! So 3.5 years later, I FINALLY finished hand sewing the binding! Needless to say, this quilt is not going to the intended baby. However my little Weston is using it as a little play mat. :-) I really should have taken a picture of him on it, now that I think of it! Owell.

Stella's Rubber Duckie Quilt!

So I finally finished this quilt!! I started it back in 2009, once I heard that a good friend of mine was expecting. I wanted to make a flannel quilt for her, and really fell in love with the rubber duckie fabric.

This is the front of the quilt.  Fresh out of the dryer! Little wrinkly, but I was on my way out the door to give this to my friend :-) I'm a great procrastinator :-)

This is the back of the quilt. I had fun just putting a strip of rectangles in the center of the back.

All folded up and ready to go!! Stella is already 2 months, but at least it got to her!! :-)

I will be back soon!!!

Things around here have been so crazy!!
I have just been blessed with my 3rd child. A boy this time!
Weston William Ron. July 22/10 @ 5:38pm  7lbs 8oz
I had so many health issues the last couple months with the pregnancy, so that by 36 weeks my doctor didn't want to risk my pregnancy any longer that they induced me. He was perfectly healthly and I feel so blessed to have him in my life.
I don't know if this post will make much sense at all, I am sooo sleep deprived, but I am glad to be back on the mend and starting to feel much better.
I have some little projects I have been working on that I will post soon.

Oh sewing... how I miss you...

I really really really am trying to be patient, but I am STILL waiting on my husband to pick up my sewing table and bring it home!!  So I keep looking at my fabric and awaiting the day I can cut into it.  Yes, I could sew at the kitchen table, but I find that so hard to set up and take down every time. We use our kitchen all the time to eat, etc. So I NEED my sewing table..
So for now... Here is my stash!!!

We've moved!

So I am hoping to have this blog up and running soon!!  We have been very busy with moving in the month of December.  In addition to that, I found out that I am having baby #3!!  That was very much a surprise, but I am getting used to the idea of another sweet newborn :-)
I am also hoping to figure out how to get a new layout for this blog.  I am soooo clueless on how to run blogger!!  If anyone out there has any suggestions for me on templates, etc. I could use the help!
Happy very belated New Years!
Ok, so this isn't what the outside of the house looks like now, but you get the idea! (note to self: get a current picture of the house!!)

The kitchen on moving day!

Where the sewing magic will happen!! If I can ever get my husband to move my sewing table over here.  Sigh...

So there you have it! The reason for my delay in blogging.  In the mean time, I enjoy reading everyone else's blog, while drinking my daily coffee.  You are all my inspiration!!
