So I haven't been able to do much quilting lately. It's so hard since I have been working like crazy, and trying to get this house ready to sell. But I sooo do look forward to when I move to my new house in December and will finally have a quilting room!! (I quilt at my mom's house for now).
So for now, I shall shop!
Then once I move I will turn into a quilt maniac. Hopefully ;-)

Hi! I cannot find your email address, so I'm leaving my response to your comment here.
Thank you so much for the comment you left on my entry to the Festival. I’m so overwhelmed by all the response and wonderful comments I have received; I was not prepared for this as I have never been present where the quilt has been exhibited, and am totally new to this whole blogging thing (I see you are too:-)). I am happy (probably not the right word..) though that my quilt touches so many people, even if I made it as a way to deal with the whole thing myself. I have to add that I did ask my daughter’s permission to tell our story, and she was only happy I would do it. Some stories just need to be told.
Her getting ill started my quilting journey, which you can read about here: http://mrsmoen.blogspot.com/2009/09/my-first-quilt.html. Quilting is one of the things that has kept me sane through all these years.
Hi Heather!
As a rather new blogger myself I too find it wonderful how blogging brings people together; it's a rather small world after all. I have not been to Canada (yet), but daughter spent her summer vacation there 10 years ago. Denmark is not far away at all; they used to "own" Norway way back, and our written languages are still pretty much the same.
Good luck with your new home (it's hard work, isn't it); I see you already have been shopping fabric for next year:-)
